With this in mind, Settle plays host to the first of a series of Breakfast Business Builder masterclasses run by Craven District Council. If you run a business in the Craven area and would benefit from devising a sales plan, then you can attend a free workshop at St John’s Church Hall in Settle on Wednesday July 6th. Alison Laws, Craven Growth Manager at the York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub, explains that “many smaller business owners are so involved in all aspects of their business, they forget that the sales function is as important, if not more so, than the rest.” Businesses we’ve visited over the months have realised how much things have changed over the pandemic. This masterclass is aimed to help them create realistic and achievable sales goals that allow businesses to measure and improve performance.
This will be the first of two related masterclasses, each addressing sales growth. They’re being delivered by Paula Richardson of Smart Bee which is a sales consultancy based in Northallerton. Paula enjoys working with small and medium businesses as each one is different, and their owners tend to have an enormous love for what they do.
